A Spring Pastel Themed Dessert Table
Posted on June 07 2018
With Easter just around the corner, I am so excited to share this gorgeous, pastel-inspired sweet table, perfect for Spring-themed Dessert Tables.
Photographed by Little Lamb Photography, this Dessert Table, although originally designed for a birthday party, would make a stunning addition to any celebration you’re planning on hosting over the next few weeks.
Full of the joys of Spring, the Dessert Table perfectly captures those wonderful pastel colours we are beginning to see pop out at this time of year, as the plants around us begin to bloom.
I think that you can almost feel the promise of summer when you look at this table. The sugary creations look almost too good to eat! As well as the pastel shades, the photographer also wanted to include watercolours, which can be seen in the charming custom stationary and one of the larger cakes.
By adding some family heirloom teacups, there is a real vintage feel to this Dessert Table, which works well with the pastels and watercolours.
The sequinned tablecloth and gold banner, add a wonderful celebratory sparkle to the Dessert Table.
We asked Little Lamb Photography about this gorgeous sweet table:
I came up with the idea for a styled baby birthday party shoot. The theme is spring. I incorporated pastel colours for the food and props. I also wanted to have watercolours, which are shown in the beautiful custom stationery and one of the cakes. Next, I included some vintage items to the shoot by adding some family heirloom teacups for decorations. They were from my nana's teacup collection, which I remember seeing and wanting to play with while growing up.
The sequined tablecloth as well as the banner added just the right amount of sparkle. Several wonderful vendors were instrumental in helping me to bring my vision to life. They were all kind enough to help me out with their services or items. All three of the bakers blew me away with the sugary creations they made for the shoot. And the stationery was such a pretty touch. I was so happy to see the final result. Everything came together so beautifully, thanks to the help of everyone involved.
